Born and raised in Aberdeen, Garett has had the privilege to be among friends and family his entire life. He grew up hunting, skiing, racing BMX and working on cars. He played baseball for Central Washington University and coached baseball at every level from t-ball through college.
Garett graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1989 and earned degrees from Centralia College and Central Washington University. In 2004, he earned his AAMS® designation from the College of Financial Planning.
Like a lot of advisors, Garett developed an interest in the stock market in high school. He won his school’s stock market game when he learned a strategy called the Dogs of the Dow. A strategy that is still in use by many today. As an Independent financial advisor, Garett invests his time to understand what you’re working toward before you invest your money. Working closely with you, your CPA’s, attorney’s and other professionals, he will help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family. His focus is on serving families who have a desire to build wealth and pass that wealth on, for generations to come. In 2000, he joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor, opening the firm’s first branch office in Aberdeen, WA.
Garrett joined Mill Street Financial in 2022 to establish the Market Street team in Aberdeen.
